The poster and program of activities of the Half Year Festero 2019 of Moors and Christians of Molina de Segura, promoted by the Federation of Moors and Christians of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with the Molinense City Council, is celebrated from 26 to 31 March.
The initiative was presented at a press conference on Friday, March 22, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the President of the Federation of Moors and Christians of Molina de Segura, Salvador Yepes Lozano.
The proposal to organize in the municipality these Moors and Christians Festivities was born from the initiative of a group of Molinians, who contacted Salvador Yepes and David Carmona, from the Kábila Hosts Fernando III of the Moors and Christians Festivities of Murcia, and the idea was to start in 2018 with a presentation of the Fiestas to, in 2019, organize a first celebration of Moors and Christians in Molina de Segura.
The idea was very well received and a total of 250 people were involved in these festivities, grouped in two kábilas moras (Kábila Mulina As Sikka and Kábila Rey Moro) and two Christian mesnadas (Mesnada Infante Juan Manuel and Mesnada Huestes de Fernando III).
The Mayor, Esther Clavero, points out that "these celebrations, which are born of the popular initiative and are having a good fuck, have to be consolidated in the future, so that the celebrations will last over time and have not only a gap in the celebrations of Moors and Christians of the Region of Murcia, but they get to be a reference, I hope so for the impact and enthusiasm that are putting their organizers.
The poster is the work of Murcian painter Sergio Ruiz Luján, made in oil on canvas, under the title of inhabitants, and the program of the Half Year Festero 2019 Moros y Cristianos Molina de Segura 2018 is as follows:
Tuesday, March 26:
7:00 pm: Visit of Festive Charges to the Sponsoring Company, Estrella de Levante.
Thursday, March 28:
8.30 pm, in the auditorium of the CIFEA (on Avenida Gutiérrez Mellado, n ° 17), conference The Manuel in Molina La Seca, by José María López Lacárcel, Cross of the Civil Order of Alfonso X the Wise.

Friday, March 29:
10.00 h., At the Virginia Martínez Fernández Auditorium, at the MUDEM, medieval story A Journey through the Molina Legendaria, written and narrated by Paco López Mengual, for schoolchildren from Molina de Segura.
7.30 pm, at the Parque de la Compañía, inauguration of the Medieval Market.
Market closing at 10pm.
9.00 pm, at the Tomás Fernández Gil Municipal Auditorium, festive concert by the Municipal Band of Molina de Segura and presentation of the Festive Fees 2019. Free admission until full capacity is reached.
22.45 h., In Plaza de España, dinner.
23.00 h., In Plaza de España, concert of the Los Happys group.
Saturday, March 30th:

10.30 h., Through different streets of Molina de Segura, Festero Lunch.
