The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Public Road, Municipal Works and Infrastructure, has carried out the refurbishment works of the public road linking the urbanization El Chorrico with the road of La Alcayna-Altorreal-Murcia, which opens to traffic today Friday March 15, with an investment of 14,425 euros, financed from the municipal budget.
The road is in the extension of Avenida de los Castaños, which runs through the El Chorrico urbanization.
The road already had asphalted about 150 meters with double surface asphalt treatment.
The works have consisted of the continuation of the same treatment until the end of the road, until its encounter with the Murcia road to the urbanizations of La alcayna and Altorreal.
The road was with an artificial gravel treatment, which, given the time elapsed, the passage of light vehicles and the rains that had fallen on it, had caused ditches to appear in the water runoff, reaching in some sections to disappear. full.
The works consisted of a profiling of the grade of the road, with watered and later compacted, to adapt the surface of the road to deal with the double treatment.
Traffic signaling discs have also been installed, and a stormwater passage has been resolved by means of a baden, consisting of HM-20 concrete pipes covered with electrowelded mesh.
