The Consistory Molinense did not approve since 2007 an extension of the staff of the Local Police.
Under the mandate of Esther Clavero was approved last November the convocation of the selective process for the provision in property, through free competition, by internal promotion, of eight seats of corporal of the Local Police, and now it will also be counted with ten new agents to continue maintaining Molina de Segura among the safest cities.
The mayor recalls that the municipality "is one of the safest in the region, with indices that speak for themselves: we are 20 points below the national average and 8 below the regional average in the crime rate, it has produced a reduction of 15% in all types of robberies with respect to 2017, but even so we will continue working for prevention and that is why Molina de Segura will have an important reinforcement thanks to these ten new positions of agents ".
Navarro, Councilor for Human Resources, recalls that in addition to this reinforcement of personnel, the government team has also urged the Ministry of the Interior to modify the catalog of the National Police Station and the creation of a Response Task Force composed of National Police and Local Police.
The provision of means to guarantee the safety of the population of Molin has also gone through the acquisition of five new vehicles.
Clavero points out that the coordination with the Government Delegation is constant and that despite the data indicate that Molina is a safe city, work will continue on prevention.
Likewise, she asks for the maximum responsibility of the parties so that they stop using it in a partisan way, especially when one of their candidates was a councilor of personnel for a long time and did not call a single local police post.
