The Management Authority of the European Fund for Regional Development (FEDER) brings together in the Ministry of Finance the coordinators of the municipalities of sustainable and integrated urban development strategies, among which is that of Molina de Segura, to start up all aspects related to information and communication.
National legislation and the European Commission stable that it is mandatory to deploy actions to inform and communicate to the public the actions co-financed by the ERDF, which in the case of Molina de Segura are included in the municipal strategy "Molina 2020 Avanza Contigo".
In the coming weeks will begin the information and communication actions, which are required by the regulations of European funds, on investments that the City of Molina de Segura can begin to perform.
The regulation of the ERDF, explains the Coordinator of European Projects of the municipality of Molinense, Antonio Gomariz Pastor, establishes the requirement to communicate and transfer to the citizenship all the actions that are financed with it.
This communication process is carried out under the criteria established by the ERDF Management Authority in Spain, to ensure that European aid is effectively invested, transparency, good management and reaches the public.
The strategy "Molina 2020 Avanza Contigo" has been selected by Resolution of December 10, 2018, from the State Secretariat for Budgets and Expenditures (BOE 18-12-18), and will be deployed in the period 2019-2023.
This strategy will be co-financed with ERDF support, corresponding to 80% of the total investment, which presents 10 million euros, and is part of the Plurirregional Operational Plan for Spain 2014-2020.
