Last January 20 was celebrated the fifth anniversary of the opening of the Los Postigos Center, a building that houses the Tourism Office of the Molina de Segura Town Hall and an Exhibition Hall.
Year after year the number of visitors and tourists that are served in this center has increased, through the numerous programs developed by the Department of Tourism, with the aim of bringing local heritage to all those who wish it.
One of them is the Program of Concerted Visits for groups, aimed at students of Primary and Secondary Education of the municipality and other groups, and that allows to know the history of the town from its origins to its flourishing canning past. 32 groups have been attended to. throughout the year, with a total of 1,100 participants.
The most requested visit has been A Walk through History, with 65% of registrations.
Within the Program of Free Guided Visits, the Department of Tourism, for the sixth consecutive year and in collaboration with the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia and the Regional Network of Tourist Offices, organized during the year 2018 a total of 10 tourist visits guided and free, which were made from February 3 until December 31.
In these visits, 1,343 people participated, who came from different municipalities in the Region, from Alicante and Valencia, and from foreign countries.
This meant a 76% increase in visitors compared to 763 in 2017.
The Tourism Office, in its fifth year of operation, has provided a total of 3,842 information services and has responded to 6,234 requests from non-contact groups, serving a total of 10,076 requests for tourist information, representing 1.2% more than in 2017. Of the total face-to-face information services requested, 3,145 come from the Region of Murcia, 512 are of national origin and 178 are international tourists.

Visítanos has received a total of 1,928 visitors among schoolchildren and other groups.
On the first Sunday of the month at the Interpretation Center La Albarda Rites and Traditions of Campo de Molina, 126 visitors were treated;
the second Sunday of the month, in the Carlos Soriano Ethnographic Museum of El Llano, 179 visitors;
and the third Sunday of the month, plus every Saturday afternoon and Sunday, in the Oven of the Council and House of Folklore, with 963 people.
It also highlights the participation in the Concerted Visits Program, with a total of 660 people.
Since its opening, the center has had a program of temporary exhibitions, all of them local and regional artists.
A total of 1,428 people have visited the 8 exhibitions that have been organized during the year 2018. The most visited have been Nudes and Portraits, Rengo and Pepe Alarcón, and Lux ​​Mundi, the splendor of Bethlehem.
According to the Councilor for Tourism, Andrés Martínez, "our objective to increase participation in this year 2018 has been fulfilled and it is our desire to continue with the work of tourism promotion of the municipality, complying with constant quality services."
