The Natural Volunteer Environmental Volunteer Program, promoted by the Department of the Environment of the Molina de Segura City Council, offers an activity of identification of traces, signals and tracking of small terrestrial mammals, which will take place on Saturday, January 26 , at 10.00 am, at the Vicente Blanes Ecological Park.

Volunteers who participate in this activity will have the opportunity to collaborate in the monitoring of the wildlife that lives in the Vicente Blanes Ecological Park.

A brief training will be given to identify the main traces and traces of small terrestrial mammals such as foxes, rabbits, badgers, martens, etc., and then carry out a sampling itinerary through the area.

According to the Councilor for the Environment, Juan Alcaide Quirós, "with this activity of the Environmental Volunteering Program, the citizens of Molina de Segura can contribute to improving knowledge of one of the most important and representative ecosystems of our municipality. to all the population to participate in the knowledge, value and conservation of our natural environment, collaborating every month in the activities of the Molina de Segura Environmental Volunteer Program, and especially, I want to show my gratitude to all the volunteers and volunteers for their involvement and contribution to the dissemination of the environmental values ​​of our municipality. "

The activities of this program are held on the last Saturday of each month and are aimed at all those over 14 years old interested in the conservation of natural areas and the improvement of the municipality.
