The reason for the visit, as José de Haro explains, has been to inform the municipal services of management, advice, coordination and control for companies offered by the municipality of Molinense, while at the same time it has served to establish a channel of fluid communication between the mercantile and the City Council, through actions aimed at business development.

The mayor has commented that the City of Molina de Segura is firmly convinced to return to place the municipality on the map of the main industrial points of southeast Spain, through a long series of measures and investments aimed at structuring municipal policy under the optics economic and industrial, allocating budget items of significant importance for this purpose.

In the course of the visit have been released the new tax credits, challenges of the City Council and business options that are being activated in the municipality.

The meeting also served for visitors to know the facilities of the merchant from the hands of those responsible.

The Assistant Director, César Alonso, and the Human Resources Manager, Susana Barceló, reported all the processes, data and news of the Molinense company.

The meeting also served to verify in situ the large investment that has been made in the facilities since the plant passed, in 2014, at the hands of the current metal group.

This multinational firm of recognized prestige and trajectory, thus receives a clear institutional support from the local administration, aware of the scarce presence of foreign or national groups in its industry, since 85% of it is originated by endogenous personnel.

The factory, founded in 1973 by the family firm "Hernández Pérez Hermanos SA" (La Molinera), was created to supply the volume of 3 pieces to the canning group, until in 1989 it was acquired by the French group "Carnaud Metalbox".

11 industrial buildings were built on a plot of 25,000 square meters.

In 1998 begins the career of the American company "Crown Cork", and finally in 2014 it is transferred to Top Synergy Services Ltd., which called it "Domiberia SLU", in reference to the Dominguez family dynasty.

Its market segment is dedicated to the sector of metal packaging for food, vegetables and olives, producing a total of 161 million cans in 2017 in its 4 production lines, divided into two different formats, 91% of them, lithographed products .

In 2018, containers were manufactured throughout the year, at an average of 15,411 cans per hour, and a productivity ratio of almost 3 million cans per employee.

"Domiberia SLU" is a purely Spanish business group, although with some investors from Venezuela, national leader with 697 total employees in 2017, 75% of them fixed.

In 2017, the group invoiced for a value of 145.3 million euros, occupying the third Spanish position in importance after Crown and also Molinense Auxiliar Conservera.

At present the plant occupies a surface extension of 17,800 square meters, of which 12,375 are covered.

The multinational, in addition to the Molina de Segura factory, has another 6 production centers based in Agoncillo (La Rioja), Vigo (Pontevedra), Montmeló (Barcelona), Villadangos del Páramo (León), Ugao-Miravalles (Vizcaya) and another in Horst (Holland).

The most important investments carried out last year include new palletizing robots, the 153 format packaging inspection system, N2 generation equipment, new semi-automatic cover unpacking machines and a variable frequency air compressor.

The Molinense factory employs an average of 46 workers, with a fairly fixed and regular workforce.

The plant on Avenida de Valencia has implemented the certifications on safety, traceability and trade, ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, OHSAS 18000: 2007 and BRC.

The facilities are equipped with the latest and most advanced technology, including an R & D laboratory that controls the production processes, chemical, biological, and homologation of raw materials and certifications, providing staff and machinery with a quality control continuous and transversal.

The City of Molina de Segura, through its Councilor for Economic Development, has wanted to show its strong support for this vigorous and experienced leading company, now framed within a metallurgical multinational, through this visit from which a series of proposals have emerged by the company, and a list of measures to be applied by the Consistory, together with many other future collaborations.
