Collaboration agreement between the Hospital de Molina and Ambulancia del Ultimo Deseo Foundation (14/01/2019)

The Hospital de Molina and Ambulance Foundation of the Last Wish (FAUD) have signed this morning a collaboration agreement with the aim of establishing a broad framework of cooperation to help FAUD develop its activities aimed at realizing the last personal vital desire, family, professional, social and / or religious, of those people with chronic diseases or of poor prognosis.

In this sense - and when both organizations share the same interests in relation to Social Action, Social Volunteers and Corporate Social Responsibility, among others -, Hospital de Molina is committed to collaborate economically with the Foundation and actively participate in all those activities you do.

The signing of the agreement was held this morning in the hospital center, with the assistance of the President of the Ambulance Foundation of the Last Wish, Manuel Pardo Ríos, and the Director-Manager of the Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, for whom "this agreement it is a bit of sand that we add to the great work that this Foundation is doing, with patients who are in the last phase of their lives and they have some wishes to fulfill, we can not forget that behind each patient there is a story and some emotions. From the Hospital de Molina we want to collaborate in that revolution of emotions that the Foundation has started in Spain and help fulfill unfulfilled dreams. "

The Last Wish Ambulance Foundation was born in 2007 thanks to the initiative of Kees Veldboer, and today it has more than a hundred health volunteers with the knowledge and the adequate preparation to help patients with a long time of bed rest, an important illness or incurable disease, to fulfill the wishes and dreams, for which they need an ambulance and a health team.

In 2018, he arrives in Spain at the hands of the founders of the HURGE Project (Humanization in Emergencies).

The FAUD encourages that the wishes of people with disabling, chronic and short-term poor prognosis be respected.

"The good doctor treats the disease, the great doctor treats the patient who has the disease."
