The City of Molina de Segura is doing these days the placement of vertical traffic signs that had been lost and deteriorating in the industrial estates of the municipality in the last twenty years, a performance that takes place within the framework of the line established in the Office of Companies, revitalization, improvement, conditioning and enhancement of economic activity Molinense, and its business areas.
The action is undertaken in both margins of the La Serreta and La Polvorista polygons, as well as in El Tapiado and La Estrella, with the installation of a total of 114 vertical signs in the areas most in need.
The signs are reflective, made in vinyl of 60 x 60 centimeters and on sheet steel.
They are also equipped with galvanized round steel tube 10 centimeters in diameter and 3 meters high.
These signals are more robust than the previous ones, and are placed with a greater height to maximize their visibility.
Intervening, among other roads, in the streets;
Sun, Magellan, Aldebaran, Jupiter, Saturn or Mars of The Star;
Torre Pacheco, Ceutí, Blanca, Pulpí or Abanilla de La Polvorista;
Apricot, Los Frutales or José Pérez Aguilar de El Tapiado;
and Africa, Bogotá, Mexico, Lérida, Uruguay, Valparaíso, Brasilia or Gabriel Campillo Contreras de La Serreta.
The installation works, with an investment of 5,412.70 euros, are the responsibility of the Department of Signaling and UPS of the Sercomosa company.
The Councilor for Promotion and Economic Strategy, José de Haro, commented that "investments in industrial areas are a way to return to the business what is generating by and for our city, while it is giving visibility and image to The economic activity of Molinense It is good to leave the industry aside, and it is time to face new projects and investments that truly revitalize the local economy ".
The need to place new traffic signs in places where they had been lost, deteriorated or simply lacking, is contemplated in the "Strategic Study and Comprehensive Diagnosis of Needs, Deficiencies and Gaps in the Industrial Areas of the municipality of Molina de Segura and 238 proposals of solution ", which has been prepared by the Business Office, and which will be presented to the public at short notice.
The fieldwork has been carried out by the Business Office itself, from where it has been subsequently communicated to the Local Police to obtain the appropriate authorization.
The mandatory technical report highlighted the existing signaling deficiencies, as well as their deterioration and replacement, and advised their placement in areas far from the curbs, to avoid that the maneuvers of the vehicles could knock them down.
De Haro has advanced that in the coming months, once the Municipal Budget of 2019 is approved and operational, many other actions are scheduled within the industrial areas of Molina de Segura, to promote its updating and its economic and social development.
Among those projects is the lighting of the Carretera de Campotéjar in the City of Transport, the arrangement and interior lighting of the entrance roundabout to La Estrella, the installation of three giant illuminated streetlights or the design of corporate conceptualization of the eight industrial estates Molinenses
These actions have the support of ASECOM, and other economic entities of the municipality such as the Urban Development of La Estrella, whose collaboration is being very fruitful to meet the needs and develop the business and commercial fabric of Molina de Segura.
The Councilor of Promotion and Economic Strategy, has specified that the City of Molina de Segura, within its "policy of care and attention to the productive sectors of the municipality", continues to promote commercial, industrial and service activities, investing regularly in the business areas that Molina de Segura houses in its five million square meters of industrial land.
Not in vain, added Haro, Molina de Segura has the highest regional rate of managers and managers for every hundred inhabitants, more than twice the average of the community.
