The woodwind department of the Professional Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime Lopez de Molina de Segura organizes a master class of horn, by the horn player Susana García, on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday, January 16, at the headquarters of the Conservatory of Professional Music Jaime López (on Calle Capitán Cortés, s / n).
The course is aimed at students of this specialty.
Susana García began her musical studies at the Municipal School of Music of Alcantarilla, finishing the Elementary Degree of horn with Professor Antonio Emilio García Villalba.
He made the Medium Degree of Horn at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Murcia, under the tutelage of José Antonio Arce, obtaining in all subjects the highest grades.
Later he entered the Superior Degree of Horn in the Superior Conservatory of Music of Murcia, finalizing these studies in 2012, with professors Gabriel García and Ángel Quereda.
Between 2010 and 2012 she is a student of the Brass Academy in Alicante, with Professor Nury Guarnaschelli.
He has participated in different courses of horn and master class with the following professors: Stefan Dohr, Daniel Bourgue, Eric Terwilliger, Javier Bonet, Nury Guarnaschelli, Alessio Allegrini, Michael Thompson, Wolfgang Gaag, Dante Yenque, Bernardo Cifres, Ricardo Matosinhos, Joel Arias , Salvador Navarro, Francisco Rodríguez Azorín, Manuel Pérez, José García Gutiérrez and Raúl Díaz among others.
He was also a participant in important festivals and seminars, such as in 2011 at the Wind Youth World Orchestra Project (WYWOP) and in 2012 at the British Isles Music Festival (BIMF).
From 2003 to 2013 he taught horn, trumpet, musical language and music and movement in the Municipal Schools of Music of Las Torres de Cotillas, Blanca and Calasparra.
Between the years 2007 and 2012 he assumed the musical direction of the Band Association of Friends of Music of Las Torres de Cotillas.
In 2014 she moved to the north of Argentina, where she developed the pedagogical musical work as a Volunteer in the Children and Youth Orchestra Winds of Change.
He is a member of the Wood Quintet of the Symphony Orchestra of Paraguay between 2015, 2016 and 2017. And since 2014, after overcoming an audition, and currently is Trompa Soloist of the National Symphony Orchestra of Paraguay and Professor of Horn and Trumpet at the National University of Asunción.
