The Jaime López Professional Music Conservatory, the Molina de Segura Municipal Music Band, the Molina de Segura Chamber Orchestra, the Hims Mola Municipal Polyphonic Choir, the Molina de Segura Pro Music Association and the BATUTA Virginia association collaborate in the organization
The Department of Culture of the City of Molina de Segura, on the occasion of the feast of the patron saint of music, has organized the Week of Music Santa Cecilia 2018, to be held in the municipality between November 22 to December 2 .
For this, it has had the collaboration of the Professional Music Conservatory Maestro Jaime López, the Municipal Music Band of Molina de Segura, the Hims Mola Municipal Polyphonic Choir, the Chamber Orchestra of Molina de Segura, the Pro Music Association of Molina de Segura and the association BATUTA Virginia.
The program was presented at a press conference on Friday, November 16, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilor for Culture, Pedro Jesús Martínez Baños, the Director of the Professional Music Conservatory Jaime López, Antonio José García Ramón, and the Secretary of the BATUTA Virginia Association, Isidro Cantero Meseguer.
The activities, which will be held in the Virginia Martínez Fernández Auditorium (in the Museum of the Enclave de la Muralla, MUDEM), are the following:
Thursday, November 22, at 7.30 pm, concerts to promote the Winners of the VI Edition of the Young Interpreters Competition Villa de Molina, in the categories of 1st to 3rd year of Professional Music Education.
Organized by the Professional Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime López.
Saturday, November 24, at 8:00 PM, EL TROVO.
The magic of improvised verse.
Conference The trovo in the Region of Murcia, with Joaquín Sánchez Palmesano.
Performance of the Trovero Group Coffee table of the Union.
Organized by the BATUTA Virginia Association.
Tuesday, November 27, at 7:30 p.m., concert of students of Chamber Music of the Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime López.
Wednesday, November 28, at 7.30 pm, concerts to promote the winners of the VI Edition of the Villa de Molina Young Performers Competition, in the categories of 4th to 6th year of Professional Music Education.
Organized by the Pro Music Association of Molina de Segura.
Friday, November 30, at 8.30 pm, concert of the Municipal Music Band of Molina de Segura, directed by Francisco Javier Paternáin Peñarrubia.
Sunday December 2, at 12.00, concert of the Municipal Orchestra of Music Hims Mola, directed by Raúl Céspedes Cascales.
