The exhibition REDIVIVO, by the artist Antonio Alarcón Felizes, organized by the Department of Culture of the Molina de Segura City Council, opens its doors to the public on Friday, November 16.
The opening ceremony will take place at 8:00 pm in the El Jardín Exhibition Hall (at Joaquín Abellán Street, n ° 8, in Molina de Segura).
Assists the Councilman of Culture, Pedro Jesus Martinez Baños.
The sample can be visited until December 14, at the following times: from Wednesday to Friday, from 11 am to 1 pm;
Tuesday to Friday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm;
and on Saturdays, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
The work of Antonio Alarcón has a deep aesthetic sense but also leaves an imprint of emotional depth when approaching poetry to transcend the mere plastic fact in his works.
With an absolutely personal style, which has marked all his artistic career since always, now shows, in this exhibition Redivivo, dedicated to the poet Andrés Salom, a thorough architecture of colors and poetic semantics reflected on the canvas and the table.
An artistic display of lucidity, of expressive maturity, full of poetic and emotional charge to enjoy.
According to the artist himself, "the year was 1993 when, for my 50th anniversary, Andrés Salom gave me the poem Pinta with him whatever you want." A few days later we saw each other and presented him with the sketches of what is now this exhibition. In these past years I have made some changes to the initial project, I took the first piece to the canvas during that year, then slept the dream of the just for a long time, until in 20l5 I resumed the project, which I now present in Molina de Safe".
