Juan Perro, sonero, minstrel and thinker of Spanish rock, at the Teatro Villa de Molina (12/11/2018)

Referent of the so-called "Movida madrileña", for his stage on Radio Futura, Santiago Auserón, alias Juan Perro, will perform on Saturday November 17th at 9pm at the Teatro Villa de Molina in a concert organized by Lady Guitar.

Accompanied by his electric guitar, and together with Gabriel Amargant and Joan Vinyals he presents "El viaje", from his respect to the traditions preserved through words and music.

Next Saturday, November 17, Santiago Auserón will present at the Teatro Villa de Molina, in a concert organized by Lady Guitar, the seventh album by Juan Perro, El viaje.

Accompanied by his electric guitar, he presents this work in trio format, together with Gabriel Amargant (sax and clarinet) and Joan Vinyals (guitars).

El Viaje, considered by the critics "the best album by Santiago Auserón", is a collection of songs patiently prepared and shot, before being recorded in minimal format, looking for the nucleus in which the song germinates, the naked skeleton in which begins to unfold in search of the listener.

"I do not know if I've been walking my dog-faced juggler for the last twenty years or he's the one who took the troubadour on a trip, jumping through ports and borders ... The fact is that we've come together on this tour, with the guitar in between, to see if we have learned something from the good musicians with whom we share a stretch of the road. "

From the track that opens the album, The Misfits, (inspired by the latest film by Marilyn Monroe, The Misfits, in Spanish Vidas rebeldes) with which Santiago recalls "the last glimmers of the twentieth century", to the theme that closes and gives title to the album, the search for balance between the poetic risk and the forms of popular song covers a wide range of styles.

In the new repertoire of Juan Perro, the Afro-American heritage (blues, R & B, rock, soul, jazz standards) is increasingly integrated with the Afro-Cuban tradition mainly Cuban and the music of Iberia .

The verse in Spanish thus evolves in a renewed field of sound with foundation and daring ideas, with a desire for the future.

"There will be songs with the spirit of a winery, other new ones that want to flap their wings towards the focus ... I tell them: do not be imprudent, girls, do not go to the theater alone ... there will be a certain effrontery, sure, perhaps a transparent Muse like your dress, tiptoe over the most fragile flash ... if you come we will be more alone to guess their dance. "

The writing and the interpretation of Auserón begin to approach the maturity, without leaving behind the effrontery of adolescent experimenter.

The price of the tickets is 24 euros and they are already on sale at the box office of Teatro Villa de Molina and on the ticket sales portal bacantix.com
