The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, on behalf of the municipal institution and citizenship, thanked the donation of funds that the Official Chronicler of the municipality, Antonio de los Reyes, has made to the Municipal Archive of the Molinense City Council.

Antonio de los Reyes (Murcia, 1931), Official Chronicler of Molina de Segura and Academician of Alfonso X, constant researcher of the history of the municipality and Murcia, is in constant communication and collaboration with the Municipal Archive of Molina de Segura.

"We appreciate your attention and interest in helping at all times the professionals of the Municipal Archive and resolve the questions and queries that sometimes arise," says the Mayor.

The donation of Antonio de los Reyes is composed of:

Invitations to public events at national, regional and municipal levels, which make us see the relevance as a public figure of Antonio.

Thanks to these documents we have evidence of many events and inaugurations that have taken place in the municipality and will remain in the memory.

Books from his personal library, as well as his own authorship, which will be of great help in the Archive for the conservation of the memory of the municipality.

Electoral programs, graphic testimonies, with which you can review the political history and thus know the candidates and aspirants to the government of Molina de Segura.

In addition to accepting and cataloging this legacy, the Municipal Archive has created on the website of the City of Molina de Segura (www.molinadesegura.es), in Municipal Services, on the link File, a section with the name Historical Library.

In this section, the entire Pliego del Cronista de Molina de Segura Collection has been made available to users.

This collection consists of 51 issues and 4 extraordinary editions.

The contents are very diverse;

they deal with topics such as Mayors and ephemeris of Molinenses, Molina in the 18th century, Castillo de Molina, the weekly market, the Church of the Assumption, the Muslim wall and the Fajardos, among others.
