The Hospital de Molina is one of the five finalists of the XIII Edition of the Best In Class Awards (BIC), in the Traumatology, Emergency and Corporate Social Responsibility Services, promoted by "Gaceta Médica" (editorial Contents and Health Information) and the Chair of Innovation and Health Management of the Rey Juan Carlos University, with the support of SEDISA (Spanish Society of Health Managers) and the Ad Qualitatem Foundation.
The objective of these Awards is to publicly and annually recognize the best Primary Care Center, the best Hospital and the best Services or Units in the national territory, both public and private, seeking excellence in the care they provide to their patients.
In the words of the Director-Manager of Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, "for us it is a pride to have, once again, two Hospital Services such as Traumatology and Urgencies so well valued in the field of quality care and patient care Undoubtedly, it is another stimulus to continue offering the best of both, as well as the recognition of our Corporate Social Responsibility Area (CSR): being a finalist of the BIC 2018 Awards, confirming our involvement with responsible management of triple economic, environmental and social performance and puts us back as one of the companies in the Region of Murcia that works the most for CSR ".
The Molina Hospital also ranked among the five best Hospitals in Spain in RSC (2017, 2016, 2015 and 2013), in Traumatology and Emergency (2017 and 2016), in Internal Medicine (2014 and 2013) and in Clinical Safety ( 2012).
In this edition, the participation in the Best In Class Awards has exceeded the 800 nominations presented, which accounts for the impact of these Awards in our country.
The awarding of these awards - which takes place today, Tuesday, October 23 in Santander -, is based on the score obtained by the candidates with the Patient Care Quality Index (ICAP), developed especially for these Awards, and which is established From the multivariate analysis of the data provided by hospitals and primary care centers.
The winners and finalists in the different categories are part of the "Guide to the Best Hospitals and Health Services" that is published annually.
