The Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare co-financed by 60% (with 10,000 euros), along with the City of Molina de Segura, three healthy programs in the municipality, with a total cost of 15,572.7 euros, as reported by the Councilor of Public Health, Esther Sánchez Rodríguez, who states that "Molina de Segura gets this type of grants for the first time in order to develop health initiatives that put us at the head of the municipalities of the Region and at the national level, to promote health and healthy lifestyle habits. "
Molina de Segura is part of the Healthy Cities Network and the Ministerial Strategy for the prevention and promotion of health and this year receives funding to develop three new projects, each of which is aimed at a different sector of the population: young people, women and population in general.
The projects, which have not been developed in other municipalities and will do so exceptionally in Molina de Segura, are:
Alternatives for the de-medicalization of life, intended for women, in its first phase, and that will be extended to the general population, endowed with a total of 6,282.70 euros.
Prevention of drug use in adolescents victims of family violence, for the IES of the municipality, endowed with 4,290 euros.
Mapping of healthy resources, endowed with 5,000 euros, which adheres Molina de Segura to a ministerial web portal of unified information on public and private municipal activities, as well as on public facilities that allow for the conscious use of our environment and promote healthy lifestyles in citizenship.
The Councilor for Public Health is committed to maintaining the programs as municipal from January 2019, when the grant ends and expand to the general population that wants to be part of the projects to make Molina de Segura healthy city .
