The Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura and the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia offer the course Molina de Segura, Resources and Tourist Products, coinciding with the celebration of World Tourism Day, which takes place today Thursday September 27 , in the MUDEM.
This course is organized with the objective of publicizing the main tourist resources and products of Molina de Segura and offering the official tour guide the tools and knowledge necessary to carry out guided tours in the municipality.
It covers contents such as: Historical and Geographic Introduction of Molina de Segura, Heritage, Tourist Resources, Customs and Traditions of La Huerta / Campo de Molina, Curiosities and typical Molinian anecdotes, Molina's industrial past, etc.
The activity, organized by the Tourist Qualification Center, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism of the Molina de Segura City Council, is aimed at official and technical tourism guides, and has 30 registered people.
The course is taught by María del Carmen Dengra Romero, from the company Aldaba Congresos.
Those attending the MUDEM can participate during the morning of a theoretical part, and another part of location, with a guided tour by Molina de Segura, guided tour of the MUDEM, and closure at the Tourist Office, at the Los Postigos Center.
The Councilor for Tourism, Andrés Martínez Cervantes, said that "Molina de Segura joins the commemoration of World Tourism Day, which this year is being held under the theme Tourism and digital transformation, with actions for the implementation of the adaptation from the Molina de Segura destination to the Smart Tourist Destination model, through the development of online tourist routes and the implementation of the Virtual Tourism Office on the municipal website ".
