A fire burned today a bus line 49, linking Murcia with Molina de Segura, on its way through the urbanization Los Conejos, without there being injured between the passage, nor by the driver.
The passengers, between 12 and 15 people, evacuated the bus to the order of the driver, who was the first to try to put out the flames with the emergency extinguisher of the vehicle, as stated in the company's protocol.
The events occurred at 8.15 am, and went to the fire department of the Fire and Rescue Extinction Consortium (CEIS), in three vehicles, which were in charge of completely extinguishing the fire.
The passengers were picked up by another bus of the company, which resumed the established route, without major consequences.
For its part, the damaged vehicle was removed by a crane and transferred to the LAT Bus workshops, where an investigation has been initiated to establish the causes of the fire, which originated in the rear.
The bus had all revisions in order, and this month of May passed the vehicle technical inspection (ITV).
