The Association Viktor Frankl Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Department of Youth of the City of Molina de Segura, organizes the workshop for adolescents The awakening of force.
Rite of passage towards meaning, freedom and responsibility, which will take place on September 21, 22 and 23, in the Integrated Center for Training and Agricultural Experiences (CIFEA) of Molina de Segura, for young people between 14 and 17 years, and taught by the psychologist Miquel Viaplana Ramírez.
This formative initiative, which is being developed for the first time in this locality, has as its objective the development of self-esteem, creativity, autonomy, and cooperative work.
Contributing to the passage through adolescence in a healthy way, empowering participants with their skills and abilities and discovering their own life project, are considered as other essential objectives of this workshop.
For what is intended to provide the adolescent, according to the information brochure, "a theoretical and practical basis on which to develop their own ideas and concrete methods that can apply in their personal and professional life."
Miquel Viaplana Ramírez is a graduate in systemic and juvenile psychotraumatology and since 2014 President of the Catalan Association of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis (ACLAE).
The prevention of drug addiction, the training of professionals dedicated to caring for dependents and counseling to adolescents and families, make up some of their other work areas.
As a methodology, this workshop will work, in a playful and experiential way, dynamics and individual and group games, which will be carried out from the viewing of movie scenes and adaptations of the myth of the warrior and of different rites of passage used by humanity along its history.
The Viktor Frankl Association, which carries out training activities in the El Retén building in Molina de Segura, as well as in other localities of the Region, is made up of experienced volunteers in the aid relationship and takes its name from the Austrian psychiatrist who created the third Viennese psychotherapy school and survivor of the Nazi concentration camps.
Man in search of meaning is one of his best known works.
