The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, announced today, Friday, September 7, that the government team will promote the call for ten places for corporal and another 10 places for local police officers, in order to increase the workforce police and strengthen citizen security in the municipality.
The proposal will be presented at the General Negotiation Table, convened for Monday, September 10.
Esther Clavero already announced her intention to carry out an increase in the staff of the Local Police during the Ordinary Plenary of the month of May, where a joint motion was approved to request the Ministry of the Interior to expand the catalog of the National Police Station de Molina de Segura and the inclusion of a Response Operative Group (GOR).
"While this broadening of the catalog by the Ministry is not carried out, the municipal government team fulfills its commitment to citizens to strengthen citizen security, and continues to bet on the close collaboration between the Local Police and the National Police, which So good results are occurring in our municipality, "says the Mayor, who highlighted the reduction, during the last year, by 15% of the number of robberies with violence and intimidation, placing the crime rate in the municipality of Molina de Segura 20% below the national average and eight points below the regional rate.
Also, Esther Clavero has confirmed that the mixed operation of security in urbanizations and districts, whose purpose is to prevent assaults inside homes in areas of urbanizations and districts, remains active.
