The Special Security Plan of the Fiestas de Molina de Segura 2018 was launched on Saturday, September 1 and will be operational until Monday, September 17, as reported by the First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Public Safety and Local Police , Fernando Miñana Hurtado.
During the holiday period, several different activities and events will be developed, traffic cuts and detours will be carried out, alternative bus stops and dissuasive car parks will be enabled, and Civil Protection and Red Cross volunteers and firefighters will participate in all the most relevant acts.
As more significant data, it is noteworthy that both the staff of the Local Police and the National Police in Molina de Segura will be fully operational during the holidays, in order to ensure security these days of great affluence of public.
Civil Protection and the Red Cross will participate with volunteers and seventeen members of the Fire Extinction Consortium will watch over the safety of the neighbors, in addition to the resources provided by the emergency service 112 of the Region of Murcia.
The MOLINA DE SEGURA 2018 PATTERNS SECURITY PLAN is set up with the aim of contributing to the maintenance of public safety at the Patron Saint's Day and establishing the necessary collaboration and coordination between the different police forces, while incorporating the capabilities of all councils and municipal services, and is structured in three large BLOCKS:
1 ° CITIZEN SECURITY:
- The staff of the Local Police will work in full and will be on the street to reinforce the vigilance in the different activities of the festival program, trying to give the maximum coverage to the numerous events and events that will take place in the municipality.
- Increase police presence and visibility with agents patrolling the streets in the places with the highest concentration of people.
- Reinforcement of police control measures with uniformed agents, but also with plainclothes agents, planning at the same time new preventive measures.
- Traffic controls.
- Sectorization: allocation of sectors between Local and National Police and reduction of response times.
- Design of specific devices in certain events (concerts, pilgrimage, floats, procession, zone of bars, etc.).
- Special attention by police officers to get parties free of sexual assault, within the #NOesNO campaign.
- Reinforcement of the sanitary device and installation of the field hospital on certain days.

2nd SPECIAL TRAFFIC DEVICE
List of streets and places where vehicle traffic and / or parking will be affected:
- Calle Jesuita Hernández Pérez: parking and prohibited circulation on 06, 07, 08, 09, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 (except garages) from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

- September 8th (MARKET SATURDAY) AND DAY September 15th (FRIDAY), by WEEKLY ADVANCED MARKET: prohibited the parking and circulation in the usual area of ​​the Weekly Market, including outdoor parking in C / Jesuita Hernández Pérez.
- Day 15 of September (Saturday), by PARADE DE CARROZAS: prohibited the parking and circulation, from 17.00 hours, in the whole route: Avenida del Chorrico, from Menéndez Pidal to Ronda Norte, Chorrico, G. Mellado, Sawmills , Avd. Madrid and C / Mayor.
- Day 16 of September (Sunday), by PROCESSION: prohibited the parking and circulation, from 18.00, in all the habitual route: Asuncion Church Square, Consolation streets, Antonio Lacárcel, Immaculate Square, Sepulcher, Mayor, Station, Paseo Rosales, Plaza Región Murciana, Culture, Pensioner and Church Square.
- Day 17 of September (Monday), by ROMERÃA DE BAJADA DE LA VIRGEN: prohibited parking and circulation, from 18.00 hours, in the following streets: Plaza Asunción Church, Pensioner, Culture, Mayor, Atenza, Ctra. Alcantarilla and Plaza de la Ermita.
- Day 23 of September (Sunday), by Grand Prize of Motocross: deviation of traffic sense Molina de Segura for the traffic coming from Fortuna for RM-A5, establishing alternative itinerary for: detour for C / Cezanne, C / Brazil and return to RM-A5;

- DEPARTMENT PARKING.
A conveniently lit deterrent parking space will be installed with capacity for a thousand vehicles on the site located at the back of Alifrut and Hierros Paredes, with entry and exit by CN-344 (Carretera de Alguazas) at the height of the level crossing, and by the Balsa del Lino by the Red Cross.
It is therefore a place close to the party area (Parque de la Compañia, Jesuita Hernández, Joaquín Abellán and P ° Rosales), and it is intended to increase the supply of parking and decongest the urban area.
- PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
DIVERSION BUSES.
It is recommended to use the bus station as the main stop on all the days and hours previously mentioned, although exceptional stops will also be made at the Avd. De la Industria with Parador del Niño, the old FFCC (Red Cross) and Fatima stations.
- TORRENTIAL RAINS.
It will be informed with suggestions and precautions to citizens in general, as well as to owners of facilities and activities related to parties in areas of predictable water floods by torrential rains, fundamentally not parking vehicles in certain streets of the urban area, as in the axis Avenida del Chorrico, San Juan and Jesuita Hernández Pérez.
3rd CITIZENS.
REQUEST COLLABORATION AND ADVICE DURING THE HOLIDAYS
- An appeal is made to the neighbors to enjoy the holidays in a responsible manner, respecting the places destined for the passage of emergency vehicles and the rules of coexistence.
- Regarding traffic, it is recommended not to enter the city by car on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 pm, due to the celebration of various activities and events, with the consequent concentrations recorded, so that more advisable is to leave the vehicle in dissuasive parking and use public parking and parking on the surface of the public road located in the vicinity of the town.
- Insist on not taking the car if alcohol has been consumed and the compulsory nature of the helmet when riding a motorcycle.
- Parents and grandparents are called upon to watch children at large events and it is advised that they warn children that they should contact a police officer in case of getting lost.
- Citizens are reminded that criminals take advantage of large agglomerations to act, so it is necessary to have personal items checked at all times (bags, purses or backpacks).
- Citizen collaboration is requested, denouncing and giving notice of any incident or need to emergency numbers 112, 092 (Local Police) and 091 (National Police).
