3,313 people participated in 2017 as users and beneficiaries of the programs and services provided by the Department of Policies for Training and Labor Insertion of Molina de Segura (26/06/2018)

The Department of Policies for Training and Labor Insertion of the Molina de Segura City Council develops twelve services and programs on a permanent basis, aimed at unemployed people, entrepreneurs and entities of the socio-economic sphere, giving priority to access to employment for groups such as young people, women, over 45 years old or people with disabilities.

Through these programs they offer labor intermediation services, training for access to employment, career guidance, participation in employment-training programs, supply of premises for new companies, contracting in works and services of municipal interest, advice and information on the search for employment, internships in companies, collaboration with entities for local development, inclusion in the Socio-labor Insertion Exchange, follow-up of agreements with entities for labor insertion, etc.

During 2017, the Molina de Segura City Council allocated 467,156.22 euros to finance these services and programs, in addition to personnel expenses, general expenses and investments.

The Socio-labor Insertion Exchange, the New Business Center, the Placement Agency, the agreement with the University of Murcia and the Human Capital Strategic Plan are financed entirely by the City Council.

The services of the Training Center, youth employment guidance, agreement with the Murcian Health Service, Local Public Employment Program and Mixed Employment-Training Programs are carried out in collaboration with the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and are co-financed by the City Council , being the Regional Service of Employment and Training (SEF) the main source of financing of subsidies, in addition to the Murcian Health Service and the General Directorate of Youth.

The programs and services had the participation of 3,313 people, as users and beneficiaries, having doubled the number of people served and beneficiaries with respect to 2015, due to the increase in the number of beneficiaries in programs such as Public Employment, PMEF, Youth Guarantee and the Socio-labor Insertion Exchange.

For the coordination, management, realization and control of services and activities in 2017, the Department of Policies for Training and Labor Insertion had 22 people.

These are the programs that are being carried out on a permanent basis:

Placement Agency, for labor intermediation.

Social Work Insertion Bag

Training center.

Youth work orientation.

New Business Center, to house new activities and entrepreneurs, located in the La Serreta polygon.

Murcian Health Service Agreement: grants to AFESMO and the Murcia Psychosocial Rehabilitation Association (ISOL) for the socio-occupational insertion of people with mental illness.

Agreement with the Ministry of Justice for the development of Works for the Benefit of the Community.

Agreement with the University of Murcia on Corporate Social Responsibility.

Program of Local Public Employment, for hiring unemployed people, promoted by the SEF.

Mixed Employment-Training Programs, former workshop schools, for young people, promoted by the SEF.

Office of Entrepreneurship, for guidance, training and advice in the field of entrepreneurs.

Strategic Plan of Human Capital, with the Youth Council, to promote vocational guidance and entrepreneurial spirit among students.
