The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Social Welfare, has approved a competitive competition grant for all pensioners over 65, pensioners for widowhood and long-term unemployed in the municipality, for an amount of 48 annual euros per beneficiary and family unit.
The main objective of this grant is to provide financial support to the aforementioned social groups.
According to the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarro García, "the groups of pensioners and long-term unemployed are collectives of special vulnerability because of their economic precariousness, they face serious difficulties, due to their economic capacity, to face the daily expenses and need financial support, which allows them to meet their expenses.The responsibility and commitment of the Department of Social Welfare with groups in situations of social need are demonstrated, not only with the maintenance of economic protection measures, but also With the improvement and implementation of new actions, the importance of having met the demand of 1,031 people in need in the past year is valued, a figure that is expected to exceed this year or at least equal. "
The deadline for receipt of applications is from June 7 to October 1, 2018. Upon receipt, the instruction, processing and evaluation of the applications will be carried out, as well as the resolution proposal made by an official of the Tax Management and Collection Service of the City Council.
Then, the concession resolution will be issued, which will correspond to the Local Government Board;
and the publication of the concession agreements will be carried out on the Notice Board of the Molina de Segura Town Council and on the Edictal Plank of the Town Hall's Electronic Office.
The requirements of the applicants are:
Being a pensioner over 65 or a pensioner due to widowhood or being long-term unemployed without receiving any unemployment benefit or receiving an unemployment benefit exclusively.
Be a habitual resident of the municipality (registered in Molina de Segura).
That the beneficiary's family unit is the owner or beneficiary of a single home in the municipality.
Have paid an IBI receipt for the current fiscal year.
Be up to date with tax and tax obligations with the City Council.
In any case, meet the other requirements established in the General Grant Ordinance that are applicable.
Only one component of the family unit can be a beneficiary.
In the case of long-term unemployed, when there are 2 or more real rights on the home to be subsidized, it must be proved that the rest of the rights holders do not receive work income or pensions of any kind (except unemployment benefits).
The amount of the subsidy can not be higher than the amount of the annual liquid quota of the IBI for the year corresponding to the housing to be subsidized.
The City of Molina de Segura allocates a budget item of a maximum amount of 70,000 euros to this grant for the year 2018.
In the fiscal year corresponding to 2017, the amount allocated to the subsidy was 49,488 euros, distributed as follows:
