12 students have participated for nine months in the Mixed Program of Employment and Training Support for Sports Management 4 in Molina de Segura (06/06/2018)

The closing ceremony and delivery of diplomas to the 12 students of the Joint Employment and Training Program (PMEF-GJ) Support to Sports Management 4, organized by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) and the Department of Policies for the Training and Labor Insertion of the City of Molina de Segura, takes place today, Wednesday, June 6, at 8:00 p.m., in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall.

Attends the Councilor for Policies for Training and Labor Insertion, Concepción Orenes Hernández.

The students have completed the Joint Employment and Training Program (PMEF-GJ) for 9 months, aimed at young beneficiaries of the Youth Guarantee Program.

During the first three months of the project, students have received training to obtain the Certificate of Professionalism (AGAO0108) Auxiliary operations in the organization of activities and operation of sports facilities, and the remaining six months have been hired by the Molinense City Council to develop the work practices and effective work, performing auxiliary tasks of sports activities in the operation of sports facilities and support for sports technicians in the various municipal sports centers: El Romeral Sports Center and Swimming Pool, Sánchez Cánovas Football Field, Serrerías Pavilion, Antonio Peñalver Pavilion, and Francisco de Goya Pavilion.

In addition, the students have received complementary training to these specialties throughout the training process, such as occupational risk prevention, semiautomatic defibrillator course, caregiver course for public use pools, information technology, guidance, counseling, professional information and business training.

The project is divided into 2 phases:

A first, three months of training, in which students have received an assistance grant.

A second phase, of 6 months, of alternating training with work and professional practice, in which students have been hired by the City Council in the modality of contract for training, receiving a salary of 75% of the SMI .

This project is inspired and maintains many common elements with the traditional programs of Workshop Schools and Craft Houses, aiming to improve the employability of young people in order to facilitate their labor insertion, through training and qualification in alternation with a productive work in the realization of works or services of public or social utility.

It has been subsidized by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia and the European Social Fund, with a total amount of 122,979.75 euros, and co-financed by the City Council itself.
