The Department of Public Roads of the City of Molina de Segura, within its responsibilities and delegated powers, performs various tasks ranging from the realization and execution of public infrastructure projects, cleaning and repair of sidewalks and roads, urban solid waste collection, water supply and sanitation, container facilities, water connections, permanent fords, underground infrastructure, authorization of the use of public roads, markets, public lighting and various tasks, which make this Department address a macro management of municipal competencies in the matter and that directly affect the daily life of the Molinenses.
Among these tasks is the management of the maintenance and cleaning of lots in the municipality, an important task, since it is about keeping them in a healthy and clean condition to avoid fire risks in public and private lots.
The Councilor for Public Roads and Municipal Services, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, reported that "in the face of summer, the inspection actions of lots are intensifying, in compliance with the current ordinance, to avoid both the inconvenience caused to the neighbors These sites are full of weeds, like the danger of fire that can be caused by the high temperatures that we reach in this summer season ".
It also makes a "call for responsibility, so that the owners of said lots keep them in the best conditions of cleanliness and decoration".
During the year 2017, 484 files of private owners have been processed, of which 305 are already completed and 179 are in process.
And, during the financial year of 2018, in a provisional advance from January to April, the result is 86 cases, of which 20 are finalized and 66 are in process.
"This work highlights the high rate of records processed, where it is noteworthy the great citizen collaboration to get a Molina de Segura better, cleaner and healthier", concludes the Councilor.
