The 30th Cicloturista March of the Molina de Segura Conservation Route, organized by the Molinense Cycling Club, the Department of Sports and Health of the Molinense City Council and the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia (FCRM), is held on Sunday 13 may.
The event, which this year pays homage to Antonio Sarabia, was presented at a press conference on Wednesday, May 9, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia, Sergio Martínez Ros, and the President of the Molinense Cycling Club, Miguel Ángel Cantero García
Antonio Sarabia García, to whom the Conservation Route of Molina de Segura pays homage in this edition, died last March at the age of 57 in his hometown of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Owner of "Ciclos Sarabia" was one of the most beloved people of the regional cycling.
He sponsored several teams and always maintained a close relationship with Molinense cycling.
The test will start at 09.00, with EXIT from the Plaza de España in Molina de Segura.
The route, of 105 kilometers, is as follows: Molina / Ceutí / Yéchar / Caputa Fountain / Carretera de Calasparra / Alfonso XIII Swamp / Cieza / Abarán / Ojós / Ulea / Archena / Lorquí / Molina de Segura.
The first 200 registered will receive as a gift a jersey and all participants will have their corresponding "broker bag".
Also at the end of the event, scheduled for 2:00 pm, a catering time for all participants.
The organization has established the following special prizes: most numerous club (minimum of 5 participants), farthest participant, oldest participant, veteran participant, youngest male participant, youngest female participant and most retro or classic bicycle.
Registrations will be made www.cronomur.es, and its price has been set at 18 for federated runners and 28 euros for non-federated runners.
The deadline for non-federated runners ends on Friday, May 11 at 8:00 p.m.
Federated runners may register until the day of the race.
