The Independent Music Festival SIDE B Molina de Segura will take place on Saturday, September 11, at Municipal Stadium Football Sánchez Cánovas de Molina de Segura.
Will feature performances by The Ting Tings, Heavy Trash, Love of Lesbian, LA and We Are Standard.
The door opening will take place at 20.00 hours and the ticket price is 20 euros in advance (entry fee included).
The new edition of the festival has been presented at a press conference on Tuesday May 25 at the Centro Cultural Las Claras de Murcia, by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Mariola Martinez Robles .
B SIDE FESTIVAL celebrates its sixth anniversary in 2010.
Six years betting on something else.
The best pop bands nationally and internationally have been cited in Molina de Segura.
From the first time the city of Molina de Segura has relied on a proposal that meets the latest trends in music and big myths of pop culture.
The festival is already a reference in the festival circuit in Spain.
Proof of this are the thousands of people visiting from all points of the national territory.
B SIDE FESTIVAL is closing the season of festivals in Spain.
It's a big party where the music and the audience are the stars.
Bands like Nada Surf, The Charlatans, Happy Mondays, Ash, The Freestylers, Echo and The Bunnymen, The Bodyrockers, Ocean Colour Scene, The Bluetones, The Sunday Drivers, Lori Meyers, Sexy Sadie, Niños Mutantes, Morla Vetusta Rinôçérôse or have already passed it.
This year the festival focuses bet on The Ting Tings (UK) and Heavy Trash (USA), and nationals of Lesbian Love, We Are Standard & LA
Throughout its existence, this festival has brought together all its editions to more than 20,000 people.
This year, again will have a venue with a capacity of 15,000 people in the Sanchez Canovas Soccer Field, located just 8 minutes from the city of Murcia.
Within the festival will be distributed several areas, rest areas, food court (pizza, falafel, sandwiches, etc..) Shopping area (alternative clothing stalls) and camping area, with seating limited.
THE TING TINGS (UK)
The Ting Tings are an indie band British pop duo formed in 2004 in Islington Mill (Salford), and comprised of Jules De Martino (drums, bass and keyboards in particular) and Katie White (vocals, guitar and bells) is included.
Until this year have made an album, We Started Nothing, and released four singles in their current label Columbia Records, including sencilloThat's Not My Name, which jumped directly to the top of the UK Singles Chart in May 2008.

In late 2009 The Ting Tings confirmed that they had become an old jazz club in the city of Berlin in his personal studio to begin recording their new album.

HEAVY TRASH (USA)
Heavy Trash is a rockabilly band based in New York, formed by Jon Spencer and Matt Verta-Ray.
They have released three recording projects: Heavy Trash (2005), Going Way Out with Heavy Trash the (2007) and Midnight Soul Serenade (2009).
On stage and in the studio, Jon Spencer, has destroyed and rebuilt the roots of American music with such ferocity and wild abandon it is hard to imagine having anything like it.
Matt Verta-Ray grew up with the love of their parents, that would lead to the folk and blues long before he saliesen pins.
In the late 70's, young Matt found that was one of the twelve people who went to see Bo Diddley at a fair in Canada.
After the show, Bo came out and spoke to Matt for an hour about the dark secrets of rock and roll.
And the rest, as they say, is history (from sitting on the edge of the stage with Bo, to taking cheap shots for Madder Rose, through its destructive rockabilly band Speedball Baby, where he developed his guitar style cutting) until the formation Heavy Trash with Jon Spencer and his friend.
Matt is also the mad scientist behind the jungle of tube amps and echo of the old school machines that form the core of his cave analog in the recording studio NY Hed, where musicians come from all parts of the galaxy to learn the dark secrets of the soul serenade midnight.

LA (Spain)
The year was 94 when Albert Lluis Segura debut on stage playing drums in The Green Cherries, which released several demos.
Between influences from The Beatles and The Who, fell Glycerine, band that released 2 albums and achieved great impact on the local scene of Mallorca.
Years later, began working as a drummer in the band The Valendas, 1 disc editing them.
But before starting his solo career in 2003, joined a new band, The Nash, releasing them several albums and performing countless concerts and tours throughout Spain and the UK was 2004, the year witnessed his first job as LA, self-released through his own label dreamvilla Rcords., where until 2007 he released an album per year.
So naceHEAVENLY HELL.
Recording began in February 2007 and lasted until April 2009.
The album was recorded at the Cosmic Blend Studios in Mallorca, the album's producer owned Antoni Noguera, renowned Mallorcan musician, an old acquaintance during his career as a drummer in Los Valendas.
His work has been absolutely critical in this record, to the point of playing much guitar and bass and keyboards and string arrangements and synthesizers, elements known to perfection.
As the leader of LA, is Lluis responsible for all instrumentation.
Still, Antoni Noguera has recorded a multitude of instruments.
No less important are the partnerships.
To mix the album, the star chosen was Nick Didia, right hand of the renowned producer Brendan O'Brien, a dream fulfilled by Lluis himself, a faithful follower of both.
The band is made also by: Carlos Pilán, lead guitar, vocals and keyboards, Angel Cubero, bass, Pep Mulet, Antoni Alorda guitars, drums and percussion.

LOVE OF LESBIAN (Spain)
The group began playing in the autumn of 1998 in Barcelona, formed by Santi Balmes (vocals, guitar and keyboards), Jordi Roig (guitar, keyboards), Joan Ramon Planell (bass and synthesizer) and Bonet Oriol (drums, programming).
This quartet's original lineup was added in 2007 Julian Saldarriaga (guitar and vocals).

WE ARE STANDARD (Spain)
We are Standard is the official name of Getxo group that became known as Standard until 2008.
They began a whirlwind with a demo recorded in late 2004, he won the IBF Demo Project and drew attention in Spain, and then went on to do a lot of concerts in other countries: France, Holland and Belgium among others.
