Councillor for Culture and Education takes stock of the four years of the literary cycle

María Dueñas closes on Tuesday 20 May, the 4th edition of Writers in ink, a cycle begun in 2007 that brings authors and readers and that have been paraded Molina de Segura some of the best writers of our language.

Councillor for Culture and Education of the City of Molina de Segura, Mariola Martinez Robles, along with the coordinator of the literary cycle, Lola Grace, has now balance the four years of the same and has secured more than 3,000 people have past at this time by Salvador Garcia Aguilar Library, to hear in person their favorite writers.

Throughout this time, 16 writers of national and international fame with his readers have conducted an in some encounters have always enjoyed the favor of molinense population, which has maintained a healthy ratio of about 200 people on average for each meeting of this cycle .

Over the years have gone through this literary encounter the voices of Ana Maria Matute, Zoé Valdés, Bryce Echenique, Nativel Preciado, José Ángel Mañas, Felipe Benítez Reyes, Ian Gibson, Rojas Marcos, Andrés Trapiello, Angela Vallvey, Luis Leante Fernando Sanchez Drago, Ángeles Caso, Javier Cercas, and César José Luis Mallo Ferris.

All of them hold prestigious awards within the national and international literary scene such as Planet Award (finalists and winners are among those mentioned) or the Premio Nadal (Ana Maria Matute, Felipe Benítez Reyes, Mañas).

Also, another constant of Writers in ink is that it's authors widely read and even large booksellers, either occasionally, as in the case of Javier Cercas with Soldiers of Salamis, and along of his literary career, as is the case of Ana Maria Matute.

This year, for the first time, at the request of secondary schools in Molina de Segura, two meetings of writers in their ink have been held outside the Library and Salvador García Aguilar expressly for them, with the heartfelt and documented Ferris conference dedicated José Luis Miguel Hernández on one hand, and Caesar's encounter with students Mallorquí the IES Vega del Tader, Cañada de las Eras, San Jorge, Francisco de Goya, San Jorge, Eduardo Linares Lumer and Workshop .
