The State Fund of 2009 has created 535 jobs in Molina de Segura
In 2010, Molina de Segura has 19 projects submitted for an amount of 9.8 million euros
The government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras, inaugurated the new premises of the Centre for Social Activities of the District of Fatima funded Local Investment Fund.
This action has had a budget of 190,488 euros and has involved the creation of 18 jobs.
Tovar Gonzalez stressed that the improvement works of the Social Centre have resulted in the improvement of accessibility to the building, the removal of architectural barriers, changes in carpentry, lighting, paint and windows, new doors, gates and improvements building facades.
"Ultimately, the delegate noted a significant investment to improve the quality of these social facilities such importance in this locality."
Molina de Segura runs 35 projects under the Local Investment Fund, 2009, for a total of 10.5 million euros and a creation of 535 jobs, of which 175 have been newly created and 360 integrated jobs in the successful tenderers.
With regard to the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability, to be held in 2010, the City of Molina submitted 19 projects for an investment of 6.7 billion euros.
Of these, 15 are investment in new municipal construction plan to create 217 new jobs and 4 spending programs of social nature.
"In total Molina de Segura, Spain's government receives more than 17.2 million euros in two years: the largest investment in this county by any government in such a short time and which clearly reflects the will of President Zapatero municipalist" said the delegate of the Government.
More than 400 million euros over two years for the Region of Murcia
The municipalities of the Region of Murcia has developed 672 projects under the State Fund of 2009, with a total investment of 246.3 million euros and a generation of 13,200 jobs.
In relation to the new Fund, 2010, the consistory of the Region of Murcia has submitted 729 projects, of which 588 and 141 correspond to investment to current expenditure of a social nature.
The total budget of the Autonomous Region amounted to 154.1 million euros, so that in just two years the 45 municipalities have been able to finance activities for a total of 400.5 million euros thanks to two state funds.
"A major effort of the Government of Spain in the Murcia region to stimulate the economy, create jobs and improve our towns and cities in a time of economic difficulty in which the government must be an example of effective management," said the delegate .
González Tovar reported that as of today, the Government of Spain has already paid more than 225 million euros to assume the full amount of 585 works from the State Fund, 2009.
In addition, explained that the municipalities in the region have also received the first 3.5 million from the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability 2010.
With that amount, has made the first payment (85% of the total) for the initiation of 65 projects in this region
