The opening ceremony of the new Reading Garden and Park Chess Company Molina de Segura was held Thursday May 6.
Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Councilman Parks and Gardens, Vicente Fernandez Oliva, and the Councillor for Sports, Jesus Maeso Monge.
The new garden has been built on a parterre of 550 m2 in area next to the bar of the Park of the Company.
The work consisted of: recess of the firm and replacement of irrigation, installation of gutters on cobblestone main street to prevent ingress of water from the central walkway of the garden, construction of sidewalk along toilets and adequacy of sewer manholes, installation of curbs entrance to toilets to close to fence the garden in front cobbled entrance lake, placing banks in different colors, installation of three chess tables for use by two players, conducting concrete base for giant chess board approximately 36 m2 garden perimeter fence with wooden fence with a length of 80 meters, installation of two gates at entrances, installation of information boards on rules for using the garden, and completion of the base with albero ground floor.
The works have been executed by Sercom, the company responsible for maintaining the Park of the Company, with an estimated investment of 18,000 euros.
